Made for the way local tournaments are played
Tennis-ball tournaments rarely follow standard rules: 4, 5 or 6 overs a side, short boundaries, different balls per over, matches back to back from morning to night. SportsHeroes lets you set overs per innings, balls per over and wickets per innings for each tournament and match, so the score and the overlays always match the format on the ground.
Streaming from the ground
Most organisers stream with a phone or a laptop running OBS or vMix. Add the SportsHeroes overlay link as a browser source and the score sits on top of your camera feed. The scorer can be anywhere with the phone; there is no cable or extra operator between the scorer and the stream.
- Create the tournament and add the teams and players.
- Copy the overlay link for the match into OBS or vMix.
- Score each ball from your phone. The stream updates within about a second.
- When one match ends, the next one is ready to score.
When the mobile signal is weak
Village and outskirts grounds often have a single weak signal. Scoring keeps working offline and every ball is saved on the phone, then sent in order when the connection comes back. The overlay keeps showing the last score instead of going blank, so a drop does not ruin the stream.
Graphics that make it feel like a big event
- Team vs team, toss details and both squads before the match.
- Current partnership, out batter and runs needed during the game.
- Opening ceremony and prize distribution graphics for finals.
- Your tournament logo and sponsor logos on the monthly and longer plans.
